Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead role in design and architecture of new components
Develop high performance, low latency components for real time systems including market data systems and trading engine technology.
Hands-on coding competencies
Excellent C++, STL, multi-threaded development experience
Demonstrated experience working on the design, implementation, and deployment of large, complex software projects
Expertise in systems programming on UNIX variants and Windows
Experience in full SDLC - interact in requirement gathering, understand business requirements, write tests and document behavior, write high quality code and tests, manage continuous delivery with automated integration, build, test and deploy
Exceptionally strong design skills - passion and hands-on understanding of clean code, code smells, design patterns, refactoring and methods for writing maintainable code
Ability to understand sophisticated financial concepts
Additional qualifications
Highly proficient coding skills; working knowledge of low level C+
programming
Extensive experience in building systems across a range of financial instruments (e.g., equities, options, futures, etc.)
Team leadership (minimum 5 developers) experience including coaching/mentoring, design/code reviews, task/time management, people/career management
Minimum 10 years' experience
Education and/or Experience
BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or closely related fieldEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
