Develop data and user driven applications for trading environments
Excellent C# or Java development experience. Functional programming (F#, Clojure, Scala) experience a plus
Deep knowledge of relational databased including normalized data modeling, query optimization, data querying. NoSQL experience a plus
Demonstrated experience working on the design, implementation, and deployment of large, complex software projects
Experience in SDLC - ability to understand requirements, write tests and document behavior, write high quality code and tests
Strong code design skills - passion and understanding of clean code, code smells, design patterns, refactoring and methods for writing maintainable code
Ability to understand sophisticated financial concepts
Qualifications
Highly proficient developer with working knowledge of application development
Extensive experience in coding across a range of financial instruments (e.g., equities, options, futures, etc.)
Minimum 5 years' experience
Education and/or Experience
BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or closely related fieldEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
