HELP DESK SPECIALIST

We are an industry leading company seeking a HELP DESK SPECIALIST to join our corporate office. This position is open due to promotion as we offer career growth to all of our employees. This position will be located in our corporate office supporting our retail locations and corporate users, including remote users.
Responsible:
o support business applications and respond to users inquiries concerning systems operation
o perform applications troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose problems, working together with the Help Desk manager and the R&D team
o instruct users on how to use applications, including new location training
o actively contribute to application development/ improvement projects
o recommend and perform remedial actions to correct problems
o troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues related to workstations, smart phones and mobile devices
o help with setup of new equipment

Requirements:
o minimum 3 years of help desk support experience, which must include support of business application and related process - remote user support is strongly desired
o must have strong troubleshooting skills and in-depth experience with MS Windows and desktop applications, including MS Office, workstation, mobile devices, connectivity and basic networking
o experience with Windows-based architectures (Active Directory, etc.).
o familiarity with Ghost imaging and related maintenance
o Nice to have: some experience with MS Share Point, SQL Server and involvement in application development projects

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
